Meditation on the Self

Meditation on the Self

Wherever our absorption takes us we become that, we become that very object or subject, though the self has no support in any of the external things.  It is by nature support-less.

Our knowledge depends on external activity of our senses in conjunction with the mind.

By withdrawing our awareness from the world, including from our body and mind, the state of no knowledge arises.

The self has no knowledge of anything beyond itself, for everything else is a realm of conditioned perceptions.

Therefore the self can only see the self everywhere and when it does so, it is known as the all-knowable Supreme Self.
